How to Get Nigerian Government ID

Where to receive a Nigerian National Id. 1.They should go to Civil Defence Office. 2. Or they can ask in passport office too. When I went to renew my passport they were doing it in passport office.( As Told by a Nigerian) This will take 2 weeks maximum.
